Lussa Gin was established in 2015 by three women on the Isle of Jura, a wild island off the west coast of Scotland with a population of just 250 people.
They distill 15 botanicals that can be grown or gathered on the island and uniquely they freeze them, rather than drying them.The result is the award winning, aromatic, Lussa Gin.
They also make a sweet bramble (blackberry) gin liqueur, and the 1984 Gin. Jura was home to George Orwell where he wrote his famous work, '1984'. The island neighbours Islay.
