The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA)

The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) represents around 730 independent craft breweries across the UK and is the voice of British independent brewing. As craft beer continues to grow in popularity SIBA’s “Independent Craft Brewer” initiative has helped to differentiate the beers from truly independent craft brewers, from those owned or brewed by the global brewers, making it easier for beer buyers and consumers to make informed choices.

SIBA help breweries to promote and market their beers, run industry-leading beer competitions both regional and Nationally, offer guidance and support on legal and regulatory issues, as well as lobby Government on behalf of brewers—protecting the vital tax relief offered to small independent craft breweries through 'Small Brewers' Relief' as well as seeking a fairer deal for beer, breweries and pubs on a wide range of issues.

SIBA also run the UK’s biggest beer and brewing trade event BeerX UK.
