The Association of Wine Educators (AWE) is the leading professional association of wine educators who are engaged in communicating about wine to both the trade and consumers. The need for professionalism and knowledge about their subject is now more important than ever. Their clients can be assured that all their members hold the WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits, or an equivalent, and have successfully passed a rigorous assessment of their teaching ability. Together they reach annually more than 100,000 wine consumers. Their close to 100 members are predominantly from the UK (in fact every county), but are also based in Ireland, France, Portugal, South Africa, Singapore and the US.
